Skilled Immigration
Introduction

Canada Skilled Immigration is categorized into Express Entry (EE) and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

The Express Entry (EE) is an online selection system launched by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The federal government selects qualified candidates that meet the score requirements of the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) scoring system on a regular basis. All the applications are conducted online, and applicants can receive a confirmation of permanent residence within 6 months.

Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is one of Canada’s economic immigration programs. Nominations are made on a province and territory level. If an applicant receives a provincial nomination and passes the health and safety screening from the federal government, the applicant’s entire family can obtain permanent residencies.

 Successful Cases
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from a college in Vancouver, Ms.Y started working for a small company providing administrative support. During the following year, however, she failed to meet the minimum score that the Express Entry system required despite multiple attempts.

After a comprehensive evaluation on Ms.Y’s case, My Visa Services Canadian team, in conjunction with its vast staffing resources and networks, successfully connected Ms.Y to another job that allowed Y to obtain extra scoring under the points-based system. Y was eventually selected by the Express Entry system one year later.

It only took 4 months for Ms.Y to receive the confirmation of permanent residence from the submission of his application by our certified consulting team. She officially became a permanent resident of Canada in September 2019.

Ms. H obtained her bachelor’s degree from University of Toronto many years ago and then received a master’s degree from the U.K. Finally, she decided to live in Canada as her preferred country of residence.

My Visa Services Vancouver team reevaluated her case and created solutions that helped Ms. H receive an offer from a local education company, leading her to selection as a B.C. provincial nominee.

Ms. H began her new life in Vancouver at the end of 2019.
Mr. S decided to immigrate to Canada with his family after serving as an executive at a top IT company in Beijing for almost a decade.

With the help of comprehensive evaluation and tailored guidance from our Vancouver team, Mr. S received the B.C. nomination in August 2019 and then followed by the approval of his work visa in March of next year.  Mr. S is now ready for starting a new life in Canada.
