Application Requirements

  • High school diploma or higher
  • At least 24 months of relevant work experience in the last 30 months
  • Relevant educational background or certification
  • Language Requirements:
    • TEER 4/5 (formerly C/D): CLB 4
    • TEER 0/1/2/3 (formerly 0/A/B): CLB 5
  • Good health and no criminal record for applicant and family members

Work Experience Requirements for Application Submission:

  • 1 year of work experience in Alberta allows direct application.
  • If 24 months of relevant work experience was gained outside Alberta (including overseas) within the last 30 months, 3 months of work in Alberta is required before applying.
  • Alberta graduates can apply after 6 months of work.
